About Wouter
My name is Wouter [vow-ter] F. Goedkoop and I am the creator, writer, designer, illustrator, layout artist, producer and whatever else that’s needed to make a 100% home grown sci-fi webcomic (or graphic novel, depending on how you look at it). I’m also an overall nice guy but we’ll get to that later.
As many artists, I started drawing at an early age and quickly planned out my career as a would-be architect by age 8. After years of battering by the Swiss education system, I seemed to be doomed to pursue my studies in economics. Don’t get me wrong, this is a fine career path, it just wasn’t one for me. Luck would have it that my parents dragged me back to Holland at age 17 and I found myself being able to study art again and eventually get my degree in Transportation Design.
My many interests in the field of design drove me to work as head of graphic design and public relations for a printing company in Switzerland. After four years, I set off to work as a project manager for a small design studio back in Holland. After months of conflicts in design philosophy with my employer I took it upon myself to start freelancing, giving me the opportunity to specialize in web design.
