Wayne is off to meet up his friends. Yes, even Captains have a social life and the Headquarters of the Captaincy does its best to provide a living environment that caters for its employee’s needs, as varied as they might be. We just get a glimpse of it here, I would have had to dedicate a whole volume to cover it all. My intention was to give you a general idea of what the place is like while still serving the story.

Love the engine room. Again the lettering is fab. Nice cantina, as if peace had settled at Chalmun’s and they decided to celebrate with neon lighting. Pete is the guy chatting up the blonde babe in the background…
The ceiling’s a bit higher than at Chalmun’s, and they play blues at the Engine Room! No weapons allowed either!
Pete’s stuck on PLG-1968, a satellite of the seven moons of Fluxtona IV. He could be buying a blonde a drink there for all I know though…
